An attractive accent tree with dark green foliage edged with a gold-beige tinge. This ficus bengamina 'variegata' will make for a great addition to any household.
Light: This plant will do well in a location that gets either direct or indirect sunlight, and will usualy require more light thatn what artificial indoor lighting alone can provide.
Water: This plant does best in average to evenly moist soil, but will not tolerate standing water. The surface of the soil shouldn't be allowed to dry out completely.
Soil & Containers: It is not particular as to soil type or pH; an average potting soil should work just fine.
Fertilizer: Fertilize with a general fertilizer during the summer growing months.
Toxicity: Toxic to humans and pets.
Growing Tips: Moving this plant will cause leaf drop, but will recover after a few weeks.
