The viburnum lentago (tree form) is a magnificent tree form variety with many endearing qualities including large clusters of creamy white flowers in spring, and showy deep blue fruit in fall. Its glossy leaves turn an outstanding brick red in the fall.

Water: This tree is very adaptabe to both dry and moist locations, and should do just fine under average home landscape conditions.

Growing Tips: This tree will require occasional maintenance and upkeep, and should only be pruned after flowering to avoid removing any of the current season's flowers. It is a good choice for attracting birds to your yard, but is not particularly attractive to deer. It has a low canopy with a typical clearance of 1.2 m (4') from the ground, and is suitable for planting under power lines.
